Clinton Street Baking Co.: sweet & savory
Blueberry pancakes, biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs, Julie & spiked Arnold Palmer
The only thing that gets me out of bed before noon on a Saturday is a great brunch with great company. As I will be leaving New York City in a couple of months, I thought it's finally time to bite the bullet and endure the long wait at Clinton Street Baking Company. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind waiting forever for great food, but who wants to do that first thing in the morning? So after a one-and-a-half-hour wait, Julie and I stuffed ourselves with 3 layers of fluffy blueberry pancakes, super delicious biscuits & gravy with the most perfect scrambled eggs(!), a side of ham, and some spiked Arnold Palmers.
With a happy stomach like this, perhaps I could be a morning person after all. :)

Wow, 1.5 hr wait? I guess I was lucky with my 30min one. I really liked the blueberry pancakes with maple butter last time! Yum! :)
I think 1.5 hr is pretty standard on weekends. you were so lucky!
